Lets start with the four legged cutie:
My name is Iker and I´m a Mexican Yorkie shelter mix, but I surely have the spirit of a full grown Labrador. My human adopted me 6 years ago in the northern part of Mexico where I got lost in a big hurricane and was found by a local rescue organization. After months of waiting and nobody looking for me, my currently human adopted me and we’ve been hitting the road ever since. I was extremely scared of people and had no interest in other furry fellas, delicious food or other things dogs normally love. But as humans always say: Time , Love and Dedication can overcome everything and I can proudly announce to be a fully balanced dog, who enjoys swimming, running, eating and playing around. I hope you enjoy our trips and daily experiences and maybe even can help you out, if you are planning to travel with your furry buddy somewhere.
Well… I´m the human he has been bragging about. I´m a 27 year old half German and half Mexican “Human” who moved from Hamburg to Mexico when I was about 16 years old. I´ve always loved dogs and I was raised in a very pet friendly home. My friends call me a modern Nomad, because of my love to meet new people , travel, explore and not being overly attached to things. In this blog I want to share my experiences traveling with or without Iker and the precautions you have to take traveling with your pet and the places that are pet friendly. In case Iker is not on the list, I would like to share the places I eat , stay, the music I hear, the people I meet and some other random thoughts/facts that can come up along the way.
“May every sunrise hold more promise and every sunset hold more peace. “- Hippie motto of the day.
I hope you enjoy our posts and pictures.
